1. Use the right cleanser for your skin type.
"For oily or acne-prone skin, a salicylic gel or benzoyl peroxide cleanser works very well." "For mature and dry skin, use a glycolic or hydrating milky cleanser. For skin with dark spots or melasma, use a brightening wash, such as an alpha-hydroxy acid-based cleanser."
2. Don't use too many products.

"The best times to moisturize are right after a shower and right before bed." Avoid highly fragranced lotions and be sure to find a moisturizer that is gentle enough to use every day without irritation.

It is very important to find a way to avoid touching your face. This not only spreads bacteria and causes breakouts, but it can lead to scarring, increased wrinkles, and even the flu or other viruses.
5. Hydrate inside and out.
All the skin experts we spoke with emphasized the importance of hydration. "A lack of water means less radiance and more sagging," she suggests choosing products (cleansers, moisturizers, and anti-aging treatments) that have hydrating formulas. And, of course, drink about eight glasses of water a day.
